Biernacki thanks supporters

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the supporters of my campaign for State Representative who worked so hard over the last six months. These friends, family members, neighbors, teachers, members of the local labor unions and strangers walked all over District 20, made thousands of phone calls, attended events and put up hundreds of signs.

We all worked for a common cause – public education, working toward providing a living wage for hardworking Hoosiers, ensuring our tax dollars are returned to Northwest Indiana and eliminating heroin and opiate abuse in our neighborhoods. These issues have not disappeared.

I want to congratulate Jim Pressel as he heads off to the statehouse in January and I look forward to working with him on all of these issues that affect children and families. There is a lot of work to be done and I still believe that together, we can do better.

Mrozinski thankful to be elected

I wish to thank all who supported me in my campaign for La Porte County Commissioner. I have already began fulfilling my campaign promises and will not quit until they are achieved. I want to especially thank my wife, who endured more than she planned. I hope to leave La Porte County a better place to live and raise a family when my term of office is over.
