John Crittendon Jr. was born on Feb. 13, 1955, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, to John Crittendon Sr., and Elizabeth Jean Crittendon.
The Crittendon family relocated to Michigan City, Indiana, in 1963 where John received his formal education. It is here where he met the love of his life, Janis Crittendon. After their union, they planted their roots in Kingsford Heights, Indiana. This is where he resided until he was called to his new heavenly home.
To know John was to love him! He would give you the shirt off his back and would do anything for his family, friends and neighbors. He worked at Josam Manufacturing, he also had a long career at Howmet Corporation and was remembered by his many coworkers as a hardworking man that took pride in his work.
John's favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting and camping. This is something he passed on to his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed just hanging out and spending time with them at large family gatherings.
