Barth A. Hobbs, age 60, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at Franciscan Health of Michigan City.
He was born June 30, 1958, in Kendallville, Indiana, to Arnold Gilbert and Dora Jean (Campbell) Hobbs who preceded him in death.
Barth is survived by his sister, Babette (Don) Littlefield; nephew, Ian Littlefield; niece, Megan Craig; great niece, Harli Douglas; and many beloved cousins.
Barth was a member and Den Leader of the Boy Scouts of America for more than 40 years. He was a proud employee of Meijer for 17 years. Barth was a graduate of Brown-Mackie Business College. He worked as a judge for the election polls in Michigan City for more than 20 years. He was a proud uncle and great uncle. Barth was proud to live on his own and will be deeply missed by his family and many dear friends.
Those wishing to pay their respects are invited to Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home located at 613 Washington St., Michigan City, IN 46360 on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, at 9 a.m. at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home with Jeff White officiating.
Burial will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery in Albion, Indiana.
