A map showing the June 7 MCHS graduation car route. Families should arrive by driving east on Pahs Road, then turning right at the west entrance to the school. After turning in to MCHS, drivers will be directed to the car line leading to the back parking lot. Families should allow 30-45 minutes to complete the process. Cars will first stop at a spot in the lot where graduates will receive their diploma and any awards they earned. Cars will then be directed to a stage.

MICHIGAN CITY — It won’t look anything like a traditional ceremony, but Michigan City High School students will be able to walk the stage – but only with social distancing.

Michigan City Area Schools has updated its plans for the June 7 graduation, according to spokeswoman Betsy Kohn.
