MICHIGAN CITY — Local activist and public relations specialist LaTonya Troutman officially graduated from Pathway of Hope on Sunday, making her the first person to complete the program through the Salvation Army of Michigan City.

Through Pathway of Hope, Troutman attended intensive, one-on-one meetings each week for a full year after her family suffered a devastating house fire.
