Police assisted in the arrest of a suspect at Blue Chip Casino for criminal trespass at 1 a.m.


Alex Jordan Hall, 22, of Michigan City was arrested on an A misdemeanor charge of driving while suspended.

Timothy Wade Brown, 53, of Michigan City was arrested on an A misdemeanor charge of operating a motor vehicle with an ACE of .15 or more, and a C misdemeanor charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated-first offense and no endangerment.


A runaway was reported in the 3400 block of Salem Court at 12:58 p.m.

Police located a stolen vehicle in the 3200 block of Salem Court. The vehicle had a cracked windshield, a missing driver's side mirror, multiple cracks and missing pieces from the front bumper, and a long indention down the center of the hood.

Brandt's Pet Store reported the theft of 20 wooden pallets at 4 p.m. The theft was believed to have taken place around 7:30 a.m.

Virks to Go reported the theft of two liquor bottles at 9:45 a.m.

A vehicle was reported stolen from the 200 block of Pine Tree Court.

A runaway was reported in the 100 block of Lakespur Lane.

Lowe's reported the theft of welder on Nov. 14.

Wesley Ryan Gussman, 23, of Plant City, Florida, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, a B-misdemeanor, criminal trespass, a B-misdemeanor, and resisting law enforcement, an A-misdemeanor.

Guess Outlet reported the theft of clothing by an unknown female at around 6 p.m.

Police are investigating reports of shots fired and reckless endangerment in the 300 block of N. Ashland Avenue at 6:12 p.m.

Kohl's reported a theft of about $400 worth of jewelry at 4:22 p.m.

Keith Lee Patz, 33, of Michigan City was arrested on an outstanding La Porte County warrant for probation violation, and a failure to appear warrant out of Porter County.
