TUESDAY

Damion L. Kussart, 41, of Michigan City was arrested for possession of marijuana, growing or cultivating marijuana, a B misdemeanor.

Theft involving a T-shirt and sandals was reported at the Calvin Klein store at Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets.

A pickup truck was found 10 feet down an embankment, with a trail of skidmarks that started on Royal Road and continued into the wooded area on the south side of Warnke Road. There were no occupants.

Muhammad Farhan Umar, 35, of Michigan City was arrested for domestic battery, an A misdemeanor, and strangulation, a Level 6 felony.

The back window of a vehicle was reported broken in the 2200 block of Normandy. 

A Ford Explorer was reported stolen in the 700 block of Fairfield Avenue.

Frankie O'Bryan Anderson, 31, of Michigan City was arrested on a federal warrant for a felon in possession of a firearm.

Motor vehicle theft was reported in Audie Court.

Ashlen Nichole Elizabeth Heitkamp, 18, of Michigan City was arrested on a warrant for theft, an A misdemeanor.

A man reported that personal documents including his social security number were stolen at either the Salvation Army or Blue Chip Casino.

MONDAY

A Samsung cell phone was found at the monument in Washington Park.

Theft involving a gold necklace stolen while the owner was taking a shower was reported in the 1500 block of W. 10th Street.

A cell phone, containing an Indiana WIC card and $120 in cash, was reportedly stodlen when it was left in teh sand at Washington Park Beach.

Rusted mild steel and scrap metal was reported stolen from a property in the 200 block of Ind. 212.

A wallet was reportedly stolen at the beach on Stop 2.

Shoplifting was reported at Al's Supermarket.
