FRIDAY

A bicycle was reported stolen in the 3000 block of Jackson.

Demetrius Echols, 31, of Michigan City was arrested on an outstanding La Porte County warrant for failure to appear for battery as a class A misdemeanor.

A 16-year-old was arrested on a curfew violation.

THURSDAY

Thomas Anthony Jevyak, 29, of Hobart was charged for driving while suspended, an A misdemeanor, after crashing into another vehicle at Pine and 8th streets.

Keith M. Burgess, 27, of Michigan City was arrested on a La Porte County warrant for probation violation.

Battery involving a woman and her boyfriend's ex was reported in the 200 block of Ridgeland Avenue.

Several tools including a concrete saw and a hammer drill were reported stolen from the back of a GMC truck sometime between 2:50 p.m. Wednesday and 4 p.m. Thursday at the parking lot of Al's, Horizon Bank or the victim's home.

A man reportedly headbutted another man in the 200 block of Lake Hills Road.
