SUNDAY

A 19-year-old was arrested for resisting law enforcement, an A misdemeanor, and possession of a handgun without a license, also an A misdemeanor.

Vincent Paul Chavez, 29, of Michigan City was preliminarily charged with battery, an A misdemeanor.

A red substance was reportedly placed on the passenger side doors and front fender of a 2016 Hyundai Accent in the 2200 block of Normandy Drive. The incident is being investigated as a case of criminal mischief.

Theft was reported in the 2400 block of E. Michigan Boulevard.

Theft was reported in the 500 block of Butler.

Travis Lashawn Robinson, 38, of Michigan City was arrested in the 600 block of Emma Street.

A 15-year-old was arrested for operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license.

Todd S. Saturday, 52, of Michigan City was arrested on a warrant service call.

Travis Earl Dillingham, 23, of La Porte, and Tiffany Nichole Dickelman, 22, of La Porte were preliminarily charged with possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, legend drug deception, a Level 6 felony, possession of a controlled substance, an A misdemeanor, possession of marijuana, a B misdemeanor, and possession of paraphernalia, a C misdemeanor.

Bibiano Rosas-Quino, 46, of Michigan City was preliminarily charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, an A misdemeanor.

Ressie Rashawn Keith James Williams, 25, of La Porte was preliminarily charged with both A and B misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief for allegedly damaging the back windshield of a 2007 Ford Freestyle in the 4300 block of E. Michigan Boulevard.

SATURDAY

Police are investigating a case of threats/intimidation in the 2300 block of E. Michigan Boulevard.

Harassment was reported in the 300 block of Indiana Avenue.

A case of residential entry was reported in the 1300 block of York.

Counterfeiting was reported in the 9000 block of W. 400 North.

A 2005 Chevrolet valued at $1,000 was reported stolen in the 200 block of Douglas Avenue.

Theft was reported in the 200 block of Arndt.

Tabitha Kaye Hamilton, 33, of Hartford, Michigan, was preliminarily charged with theft, an A misdemeanor 

Warrants are being sought against two women and a man for allegedly battering five juvenile girls and three women on 11th Street by the Maple Street intersection.

A 2012 Chevrolet Impala was reportedly scratched near the rear bumper and passenger side door in the 1900 block of South Woodland Avenue. The incident is being investigated as a case of criminal mischief.

The front driver's side window of a 2004 Ford Taurus was reportedly broken in the 500 block of Pearl.

MAY 3

Anton Martin Lopez, 68, of Michigan City was preliminarily charged on Level 6 felony counts of strangulation and domestic battery.

Domestic battery resulting in apparent minor injury was reported in the 200 block of Helen.

A license plate was reported stolen in the 500 block of Pearl.

Theft was reported in the 4300 block of Franklin Street.

Criminal mischief was reported in the 500 block of E. 10th Street.

Police are investigating a case of invasion of privacy in the 1800 block of Franklin Street.

A case of theft was reported in the 1900 block of Franklin Street.

Police are investigating the case of a 14-year-old boy in possession of marijuana at Krueger Middle School.

Level 6 felony theft was reported in the 100 block of Village Road.

Charles William Rogers, 49, of Michigan City was arrested on a warrant for burglary.

Theft was reported in the 900 block of W. 6th Street.

Residential entry, a Level 6 felony, was reported in the 1600 block of Manhattan Street.

Arrest warrants are being sought against a 22-year-old man for an A misdemeanor charge of domestic battery and a B misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief.
