Criminal mischief was reported in the 700 block of Dupage at 12:53 a.m.

Lost property was found in the 2500 block of Buffalo at 9:23 a.m.

Check deception was reported by Members Advantage Credit Union in the 3000 block of Ohio at 12:41 p.m.

Grace Patchin, 20, of Michigan City was preliminarily charged with driving while intoxicated, and being a minor in possession of alcohol.

SEPT. 11

A 15-year-old boy was arrested for running away from home, criminal mischief and escape, in the 1200 block of Kentucky.

A 2006 Pontiac was spraypainted on three sides in an act of vandalism with damages estimated at $1,000 in the 100 block of Merrihill Drive.

A 2007 Chevrolet Suburban valued at $2,000 was reported stolen in the 1100 block of Elston at 3:47 p.m.

Angela Beth Kreuser, 27, of Michigan City was preliminarily charged with possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, possession of cocaine or narcotic substance, a Level 6 felony, and possession of a hypodermic syringe or needle, also a Level 6 felony. 

A hit-and-run involving an abandoned 2006 Chrysler Pacifica was reported on Thomas Street by N. Ashland Avenue at 2:26 a.m.

Jillian Alia Levenhagen, 25, of Michigan City was preliminarily charged with the unlawful possession of a syringe, a Level 6 felony.

A 16-year-old girl ran away from home in the 1300 block of W. 8th Street.

A 15-year-old and 17-year-old are suspected of battering a 16-year-old in the 300 block of W. 10th Street.

Police are investigating a case of battery in the 1000 block of Chicago at 7:30 a.m.

Found property was reported in the 1-100 block of Lake Shore Drive at 9:20 a.m.

Theft was reported from an apartment in the 2300 block of Normandy Drive.

A threat complaint was made in the 200 block of Walker.

Verison Wireless reported a case of theft in the 300 block of Ind. 212 at 2:06 p.m.

Police are requesting a warrant in regard to a case of theft at Texas Corral

SEPT. 10

Disorderly conduct was reported in the 8400 block of West Pahs Road at 10:05 a.m.

Criminal mischief was reported in the 2200 block of Normandy Drive.

A hit-and-run was reported in the 1800 block of Franklin Street.

SEPT. 9

Marathon Gas Station reported a case of theft at 1:47 p.m.

SEPT. 4

Police are requesting a warrant for a 42-year-old Michigan City woman who allegedly egged a vehicle in the 100 block of Cleveland Avenue.

AUG. 27

A stray cat was reported in the 2900 block of Woodrow Avenue.

AUG. 19

A dog bite was reported in the 100 block of Tilden Avenue.
