Three girls between the ages of 14 and 16 were arrested on charges of battery with a deadly weapon, battery causing bodily injury, resisting law enforcement and residential entry in the 200 block of Ashland Avenue at 1:43 p.m. The victim was a 15-year-old girl.
Niya M. Miller, 34, of Michigan City was preliminarily charged with theft, a Level 6 felony.
