MICHIGAN CITY – The lineup keeps growing for the city’s annual Patriotic Parade down Franklin Street on Saturday.

Floats, marching bands, dancers, skaters and the usual mix of emergency vehicles, business, community groups and churches will be part of the parade, which kicks off at 11 a.m. at the corner of 10th and Franklin, according to Abigale Thayer Kuchta, special events coordinator for the Michigan City Parks & Recreation Department.

The lineup will begin at 9 a.m. at 4th and Washington, with the actual parade kicking off at 10th and Franklin, then heading south to Ames Field. There will be a cooling station and a lost child station set up at Barker Avenue and Franklin.
