Johnny Mack Garland, 35, of Michigan City was arrested on a warrant service call.

A mailbox attached to a house was reportedly stolen in the 200 block of E. 8th Street.

SUNDAY

Destiny Jean Marie Clanton, 22, of La Porte was arrested on a warrant service call.

A gold wedding ring was reportedly stolen in the 200 block of E. 8th Street.

Intimidation was reported in the 200 block of Fairfield Avenue at 5:21 p.m.

Sunglass Hut at Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets reported a case of theft at 4:42 p.m.

Criminal recklessness was reported in the 600 block of E. 9th Street.

Witnesses reported shots fired in the 1400 block of Ohio Street at 12:44 a.m.

Three teenagers, including a 15-year-old, two 17-year-olds and an 18-year-old, were arrested on some of the following charges: resisting law enforcement, reckless driving, curfew violation and leaving home without permission.

Theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the 700 block of Dupage.

Book Warehouse reported the receipt of counterfeit currency at Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets.

Richard Allen James, 49, of Michigan City was preliminarily charged with disorderly conduct, public intoxication by alcohol, and battery, all B misdemeanors.

Jared Brandon Peck, 29, of Sauk Village, Illinois, was preliminarily charged with leaving the scene of a crash, a B misdemeanor.

SATURDAY

An animal bite was reported in the 200 block of Main at 3:54 p.m.

Battery was reported in the 200 block of May Avenue at 11:48 a.m.

A drowning was reported in the 1-100 block of Lake Shore Drive at 8:36 p.m.

The driver's side window of a 2016 Ford Mustang was busted out, causing $300 of damage in the 1-100 block of Devonshire Court.

Ricardo Jaime Tinoco, 28, of Michigan City was preliminarily charged with operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license.

Kenneth L. Armstrong, 37, of Merrillville was preliminarily charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, a Level 4 felony.

Deanbra Lamont Martin, 29, of Michigan City was preliminarily charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon, a Level 4 felony, and resisting law enforcement, a Level 6 felony.

Cigarette Discount Outlet reported a burglary at 1:06 a.m.

Warrants are being requested for a 26-year-old on charges of theft and criminal mischief in the 1200 block of Ohio Street.

Jeremy Mark Singer, 44, of Michigan City was arrested on a warrant service call.

Residential entry was reported in the 200 block of Pinetree Court.

Christopher Martisa Deal, 19, of Michigan City was preliminarily charged with promoting professional gambling, a Level 6 felony, and unlawful gambling, a B misdemeanor.

Micah A Garrett, 29, of Michigan City was preliminarily charged with unlawful gambling, a B misdemeanor.

FRIDAY

An attempted burglary was reported in the 1100 block of Kentucky Street at 5:40 p.m.

Criminal mischief was reported in the 100 block of N. Dickson

Blink Contemporary Art reported a case of criminal mischief in the 1700 block of Franklin Street.

A 52-year-old man reported a case of theft in the 5700 block of Franklin Street at 11:25 a.m.

A 15-year-old boy reported a case of theft on California Street at 7:32 p.m.

Burglary was reported in the 200 block of Pinetree Court.

A 2009 Toyota was reportedly stolen in the 600 block of Donnelly.

Terrence J. Cooper, 52, of New Carlisle was preliminarily charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, an A misdemeanor, operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, a C misdemeanor, and operating a motor vehicle with an alcohol concentration equivalence of .15 or more.

A license plate was reported stolen in the 300 block of Edward.

Bambi Nicole Fillmore, 36, of Michigan City was arrested on a warrant service call.

Battery was reported in the 2200 block of Normandy Drive at 6:09 p.m.

Police recovered a stolen vehicle in the 3200 block of Salem Court.

JULY 4

Harassment was reported in the 1-100 block of Lake Shore Drive.
