Annual community picnic at Revival

District convocation to be held

MICHIGAN CITY — The Historic District 7 of the Indiana Second Jurisdiction will present their annual district convocation from Tuesday, June 11, through Saturday, June 15, at 7 p.m. on the weekdays and noon on Saturday. Pints with the Pastors at Shoreline Brewery

MICHIGAN CITY — College and career-age adults are invited to a social evening at Shoreline Brewery, sponsored by the Queen of All Saints Young Adult Ministry. Pints with the Pastors is an opportunity to connect with the local Catholic community, enjoy food and fellowship, and meet Pastors Kevin Huber and Jordan Fetcko of Queen of All Saints. Information regarding faith formation, volunteer opportunities, and upcoming socials will be available. All young adults, regardless of faith background, are welcome to attend.

Gather at Gardena 

MICHIGAN CITY — All young families and children are invited to a free event called “Gather at Gardena” sponsored by Immanuel Lutheran Church. Located at Michigan City’s Gardena Park, 800 block of Gardena St., children will enjoy crafts, games, food and drink. It will take place June 15, July 20, and Aug.t 17, from 11-2 p.m. 


Rooted in Spirit event to be held

MICHIGAN CITY — The community is invited to any or all of the following events (June 29-July 2) which will be offered at Valparaiso University during the New Church Swedenborgian convention held there. Hosted by La Porte New Church, this critical theme of earth-care, Rooted in Spirit: Earth is Speaking to Us, will be addressed by Rev. Dr. Fox who will help participants understand the need for action by all of the current and future generations.

Admission is free, reservations are not needed, and everyone is welcome.
