Learn about beer's role in the Reformation

MICHIGAN CITY — Hym'n Ales: Something Olde, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Brewed... Join us for another hymn sing at Zorn Brew Works, 605 E. 9th St. Michigan City, on Oct. 24 from 6 - 8 p.m. Led by Rev. David Solum of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Michigan City, attendees will sing Reformation hymns and other hymns which were influenced by it. Also, you might or might not be surprised that beer had a role to play in the Reformation!


Liberty Bible Church to recognizes veterans at celebration lunch

CHESTERTON – Liberty Bible Church is honoring veterans with a free lunch and special program on Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. All veterans and their spouses who reside in Northwest Indiana are invited to attend this free event at 824 N. Calumet Ave., Chesterton. 

The program will include special musical guest, Wolffgang, from Hobart High School. Admission is by reservation only. RSVP online at www.findliberty.net/events. Free parking is provided in Lot D.
