Cameron Klimczak named to Dean’s List at Cumberlands
WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. — In recognition of academic performance, the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs at University of the Cumberlands has announced the students named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2019 semester.
To be eligible for the Dean’s List, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 and be in good academic standing.

Local students graduate from DePauw
GREENCASTLE, — DePauw University’s 180th Annual Commencement was held on May 19.
The following area students, along with 505 classmates, became the 180th graduating class of DePauw University. The undergraduates were awarded their degrees during the program which took place in Neal Fieldhouse in the Lilly Center on May 19, 2019.
n Sarah Beischer of Hebron. Beischer was awarded a BA in History
n Bridget Donnelly of Chesterton. Donnelly was awarded a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies
n Rebecca Yaw of La Porte. Yaw was awarded a BA in Biology
The day’s events included a speech by actor and 1998 DePauw University graduate Drew Powell.
Erik Elenz named to UVM Dean’s List
BURLINGTON, Vt. — Erik Elenz, Class of 2022, has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester at the University of Vermont. Elenz from Long Beach, is majoring in Business Administration in the Grossman School of Business.
To be named to the dean’s list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
Belmont University Announces Spring 2019 Dean’s List
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The following students achieved the Dean’s List at Belmont University for the Spring 2019 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

Approximately 32 percent of Belmont’s 8,318 students qualified for the Spring 2019 Dean’s List. Kelsey Shumaker performs in UF’s Spring Senior Instrumental Recital
FINDLAY, Ohio — Kelsey Shumaker of Union Mills recently performed in the University of Findlay’s spring senior instrumental recital.
Shumaker performed “Petite Valse” by Andre Caplet on the flute.

Sarah Moore graduates from Cedarville University
CEDARVILLE, Ohio — Sarah Moore of La Porte graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Child Education degree during the 123rd annual commencement held May 4.
