Health & Spirituality: Making the Connection

La PORTE — Health and Spirituality programs are being held once again at the New Church, 812 Indiana Avenue, with local guest speakers offering engaging evenings by delving into the sometimes surprising link between various physical and aspects in people's lives. This connection involves the whole person: Mind, body and spirit.

“The Power that Made the Body, Heals the Body” will be presented by Dr. Elizabeth Rassel on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 6:30-8 p.m.

Dr. Rassel will share how people can find overall wellness by unlocking and unleashing their body’s innate, natural potential to heal. New Church Pastor Kit Billings will join her conversation on overall well-being. All are invited to these programs at no fee.

The New Church is a Christ-centered ministry with Sunday morning worship services at 10 a.m. which also include children’s Sunday School, open to all. For more information on these offerings or the church’s wedding or grief support ministries, contact Rev. Kit Billings at 362-1959 or revkit123@gmail.com.
