VBS open at St. Luke

MICHIGAN CITY — St. Luke United Lutheran Church (2000 E. Coolspring Ave.) is now taking registrations for their 18th annual community Vacation Bible School. On Sunday, July 21st at 6:30 there is a meet-and-greet ice cream social where campers and their parents can meet other campers and the counselors. Bible school starts July 22, from 9:00 to 3:30 and runs until Friday July 26 at 12:00. There will be all the usual activities; Bible stories, singing, crafts, and games led by trained counselors. Wednesday is water day, Thursday is parents' night and every day a hot-n-healthy lunch is served along with snacks during the day. "Super Heroes and Super Powers" is the theme. You can be a super hero using the super powers of generosity, compassion, inclusiveness, forgiveness, and justice! The cost for the whole week is $20, there is reduced pricing for siblings . VBS at Westville United Methodist slated

WESTVILLE — Westville United Methodist church Vacation Bible School “Weapons of the Spirit” will be held July 29-31 from 5-8 p.m. at 154 W Main St, Westville. The event is open to kids entering preschool through those entering the seventh grade. The competition between girls and boys is the annual Paper products and personal care items to be donated to the Westville Food Pantry.
