Entertainment at Blue Chip

MICHIGAN CITY — A Steely Dan tribute band will head up the entertainment lineup for Blue Chip Casino this spring. 

Upcoming entertainment events include:

• Deacon Blues, the All-Star Tribute to Steely Dan, performs in the Stardust Event Center on Friday at 8 p.m. The band’s live repertoire includes a wide range of Steely Dan’s material, including songs from the 1991 hit, The New York Rock and Soul Revue.

• Arch Allies, the ultimate tribute band featuring the music of Journey, Styx, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, REO Speedwagon and Boston, comes to Blue Chip on Saturday, May 18 at 8 pm. Tickets, at $10, $15 and $20, are available starting Saturday, April 6 at 10 am.

All event tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com and at the Blue Chip Gift Box in the Blue Chip Casino pavilion. Guests must be 21 or older with a valid state or government issued photo ID.

• On Fridays in April, Blue Chip's DJs will help you dance the night away at It’s Vegas Baby! starting at 10 p.m. On Saturdays starting at 10 p.m. at It’s Vegas Baby! see Dick Diamond and the Dusters this Saturday, Semple on April 13, Ultra Fab on April 20 and Lt. Dan’s New Legs on April 27. Celebrate your inner van Gogh with Wine and Canvas at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays, April 9, 16, 23 and 30.

• At Rocks lounge, it’s free live music from the best local and regional bands. On Fridays, it’s Good Clean Fun Band at 6 p.m. and Crawpuppies at 10:30 p.m. on this Friday, Tynan at 6 p.m. and Sheryl & Say Yes! at 10:30 p.m. on April 12, Summer Son at 6pm and Size Matters at 10:30 p.m. on April 19, and Soda at 6 p.m. and Spoken Four at 10:30 p.m. on April 26. On Saturdays, see Claremont Drive at 1:30 p.m., Jamrose at 6 p.m. and It Takes Two at 10:30 p.m on this Saturday; Classical Blast at 1:30 p.m., The Dancing Noodles at 6 p.m. and Sorry for Partying at 10:30 p.m. on April 13, Rosie and the Rivets at 1:30 p.m., Rendition at 6 p.m. and Retropolitan at 10:30 p.m. on April 20 and Sam Savage and Company at 1:30 p.m., Planet Groove at 6 p.m. and BBI at 10:30 p.m. on April 27.
