Matthew Fox at Valpo University

VALPARAISO — In her struggle to survive, Mother Earth is busy at work awakening the young and older to new kinds of leadership. Rev. Dr. Matthew Fox has an "inter-generational vision for love and action." What is the role of elders and the youth at this critical time of Earth and Human history?

The public is invited to Valparaiso University on Saturday, June 29, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. to hear Matthew Fox speak as part of the opening of the Swedenborgian Church of North America's annual convention, hosted by the La Porte New Church. The convention theme is “Rooted in Spirit: Earth Is Speaking to Us.”

Rev. Fox’s topic for the keynote address will be "Youth Leadership & the Order of the Sacred Earth." Members of the public are welcomed to attend the keynote program.

Location: Harre Union building, University Ballroom, Valparaiso University, Valparaiso Indiana. The event is free to the public. The keynote speaker is sponsored by the Swedenborg Library, Chicago
