Guess Who?

Coolspring Elementary second graders in Luci Mazac’s class presented their self-portraits on May 28 as part of a “Colors of Us” project. The project, which was coordinated by Coolspring Counselor Yveline Hulse, was funded by a grant from the Michigan City Human Rights Commission. It was based on the children’s book, "Colors of Us," by Karen Katz. The book is a positive and affirming look at skin color, from an artist's perspective.
