Saturday, Aug. 3

12:30 p.m. Gentle Flow Yoga — Certified yoga instructor Lauralee Sikorski, who has taught over 5,000 hours of classes, will lead a free gentle flow yoga with emphasis on deep breathing and releasing stress. Bring your own mat, wear comfortable attire and come on an empty stomach.


Tuesday, Aug. 6

2 p.m. Sphero Bowling — Join us for a fun Sphero challenge! Kids can try to bowl using Spheros and 3D printed bowling pins! Teams of up to 3 kids will compete to see who can bowl the best. Kids age 6-18. Space is limited, sign up today in Youth Services.

Wednesday, Aug. 7

10 a.m. & 2 p.m. Michiana Clowns Celebrate International Clown Week — The clowns return with two shows to entertain all ages with their wild and wacky humor and magic. Tons of fun for the whole family!

3 p.m. Angels Among Us — As we celebrate summer’s waning, join Ange Benz on a journey of sharing the wonder of our angels. For more information, contact Ange at 219-874-3754.

Thursday, Aug. 8

10 a.m. Back to School Craft — Join us for a craft. All materials provided. Child must be present to receive craft supplies. For ages 5 years & up, accompanied by an adult.

3 p.m. Back to School City Rally — Stop by the library table at the Back to School City Rally at Gill Field. Get information about library cards and upcoming programs for kids. And pick up a free pencil and bookmark!

4 p.m. Duneland Stamp Club — The Duneland Stamp Club meets the second Thursday of each month. New members are welcome. 

Saturday, Aug. 10

Noon — Michigan City Chamber Music Festival For Children By Children — The concert will feature local music students and the MCCMF own children's choir.
