Visit Michigan City La Porte announces the 2016 Official Visitors Guide for La Porte County has arrived along with the first trimester Spring 2016 Calendar of Events.
I am very excited to share with you the efforts we have put into our 2016 Official Visitors Guide for La Porte County. The newly designed guides have arrived at the warehouse, and the first stages of distribution have begun to our partners.
The visitors guide features a picture of one of our major events on the cover. It has a magazine-style look, with vibrant, rich colors and all the information you need to know about what is in La Porte County and how you can create an itinerary to discover your desired destination. In the past, we printed a pull out map, however this year we have placed the full color, comprehensive maps in the back of the magazine. You will find a complete map of La Porte, Michigan City and La Porte County.
The magazine contents have been laid out a little differently this year with the first section highlighting arts and events. Also, you will find interesting and compelling stories about a major event, history of La Porte County, a reinvented restaurant, important attractions and the services you can expect from your Visit Michigan City La Porte Visitors Center.
Visit at any time during the year and you'll find many people moving in and out of places like Lighthouse Place Outlet Mall, Blue Chip Casino Hotel & Spa, Washington Park, Hesston Steam Museum, National Lakeshore Park and the historic downtowns of Michigan City and La Porte, as they visit the great attractions we offer here.
Visit Michigan City La Porte is about more than high-profile events and attractions for visitors to the area. We also serve local residents looking for a prime spot to host everything from trade shows to annual conferences. There are many options for your meeting or convention. Why not choose a destination that will increase attendance, inspire your participants, and make your work easier? Visit Michigan City La Porte offers meeting planners to help you plan your event.
You don't have to travel hours away to experience a good time this winter and early spring. Visit Michigan City La Porte invites you to experience events and festivals right in your own backyard. Festivals such as the Winterfest, First Friday Art Walk, Shelf Ice Brewfest, Bride Blu, Circus, Saint Patrick's Day Parade, Uptown Fashion Affair and a plethora of fun public events in and around the county are offered. The Spring 2016 Calendar of Events covers January through April and is now available for free.
The brightly-colored calendar of events brochure offers dates, times, places, websites and phone numbers of many events and festivals occurring in La Porte County. Make sure you get your calendar and enjoy some awesome fun.
