TUESDAY

Cody Brant Slaughter, 25, of Michigan City was arrested at 4:40 a.m. near the intersection of E. Michigan Boulevard and 11th Street for possession of cocaine.

MONDAY

A handgun, two loaded magazines, wallet, money and police badge reportedly were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Broadbrook Lane between 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday.

Police were dispatched to Walmart at 10:16 a.m. after a woman noticed her license plate was missing from her vehicle.

Shannon N. Gresham, 36, of Michigan City was arrested on a body attachment for $700 at 3:52 p.m.

A man reported he was battered by a man and woman at the GoLo gas station in the 1100 block of East Michigan Boulevard around 7:30 p.m.

A man reported that after breaking up with his girlfriend, she broke his windshield and keyed his car at around 8:20 p.m. in the 2600 block of Ohio Street.

A 16-year-old girl was arrested on a theft charge at the Calvin Klein Store at Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets at 9:06 p.m.

David Michael Zagrocki, 44, of Michigan City was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content above 0.15 percent and operating while intoxicated - endangerment at approximately 11 p.m. in the 1200 block of Elston Street.

Michael Anthony Battle, 34, was arrested on charges of theft and resisting law enforcement at 11:44 p.m. at Crown Food Mart in the 1300 block of E. Michigan Boulevard.

A dog found roaming at large in the 2400 block of Ohio Street around 4 p.m. was transported to the city kennel.

SUNDAY

A 12-year-old girl was arrested on a runaway charge at around 3:30 p.m. on Alpine Drive.

Two people who rent a room in the 600 block of Walton Avenue reported some of their personal items were stolen from that room sometime between 2:30 on May 8 and 3:40 on Sunday.

A black iPod Touch and approximately $5 in change reportedly were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Superior Street sometime between 7 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday.

Officers were dispatched to a burglary call in the 1000 block of W. 8th Street at 11:23 p.m.

A truck reportedly was stolen from Will’s Auto in the 4700 block of East U.S. 12 around 5:46 p.m. Saturday, and recovered stuck in a driveway in La Porte around 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

SATURDAY

Police were dispatched to Franciscan Health Michigan City at 11:49 a.m. in reference to a harassment report. A man claims his estranged family member was sending odd and unsolicited Facebook messages to his wife the morning after she gave birth to their child.

A restaurant employee reportedly stole $100 from the drawer at the McDonald’s in the 3500 block of Franklin Street around 3:30 p.m.

FRIDAY

A woman has alleged her 18-year-old daughter stole a purple HP laptop computer, some cash, a black Xbox One game console and various Xbox games and accessories from her 11-year-old daughter at 11 p.m. at a residence in the 900 block of Pine Street.

A male golden retriever mix found roaming at large in the 1700 block of Elston Street around 6 p.m. was transported to the city kennel.

APRIL 28

A resident of the 200 block of McClelland Avenue reported his collection of approximately 150 quarters and two sets of DVDs were stolen from his belongings when he and a friend were moving them from a storage unit to his residence around 1:30 p.m.
