Right now on Twitter, Facebook or the social media site du jour, there are likely an unusual amount of "selfies" of Train singer Pat Monahan from the stage at Silver Creek Center.

It started during "If It's Love," the third song of Friday's hour-and-a-half long concert at Four Winds Casino Resort in New Buffalo. Faced with an array of cellphones staring back at him, Monahan plucked them one-by-one from the audience, and, from the stage, posed with each owner for the photo of a lifetime. He did this while cruising through the band's second single off their 2009 "Save Me, San Francisco" album.
